Poetic Verses
Sign Man
While witnessing a grave injustice
something clicked inside his mind.
which prompted him to make a vow
to go and serve mankind.
He didn't know just where to start.
though a fire in him was stirred,
and so, he made himself a sign
choosing carefully every word.
"Have a Great Day" was the message
he hoped to communicate
by holding up the placard
he with passion did create.
So with sign in hand, he hit the street
and held his catchphrase high,
with an eye toward being a blessing
to the motorists passing by.
What a marvelous undertaking
the sign man gladly made

that on his heart was laid.
